Summer Fall Into Tango
Fall is just around the corner
and it is time for some fun!
Try our tango classes in Webster Groves for something a little
different. It is exciting, intense, interesting, and the people
are fun. There are classes for all levels and you do not need a
partner!
When: Wednesday dates: September 8th - October 27th
Tuesday dates: September 7th - October 26th

Argentine Tango Wednesdays with Convergence

Partner Required for these classes!!!
Tuition:
Tango 101 or Intermediate Sacadas - $120 each per person, or $80 each per person when enrolled in either of the close embrace classes.
Close Embrace (Beginner or Intermediate) - $100 per person

* Note: You are allowed 2 Make up classes per 8 week session. They must be arranged in advance and taken within the time frame of the class you are enrolled in. There are no refunds or credits given after the first day of class. If there is space available, you may pay for a single class ($15) at the beginning of the series (to try it out) if you are unsure about committing to the entire class.

Description: This is a beginning open-embrace Argentine Tango class focusing on ochos, paradas, catches and enhancing technique.

Description: This is close-embrace Argentine Tango class focusing the "close" embrace and how to do various steps while in this particular embrace.

Description: Refine your close-embrace Argentine tango while learning our preferred methods and techniques.

Sacadas
Description: This class focuses on sacadas and the many ways we use them in tango. It is one of the concepts that really defines tango and is used by all intermediate dancers. We will work on developing the lead and follow as well as the timing of the sacadas. We will explore back, front and side sacadas for both the man and the woman. It will be an interesting, challenging and entertaining class.
(minimum 6 months of Tango class experience and / or permission of instructor for Intermediate tango. Email for figure requirements if you feel you meet the requirements but have not taken class from us before.)
When: Wednesdays from 8:45pm to 10pm

Description: Learn many independent exercises so that you can practice without a partner and make your tango look like tango.
$12 per class or $50 for a 5 class card
(you have 3 months to take the 5 classes)

Description: These classes are for the advanced student that has studied not only Argentine tango but also specificaly our preferred methods and techniques. It is for this reason that it is invitation only. This class combines all of the intemediate level material in complex and interesting combinations yet also focuses on strict technique and musicality.
When: Tuesdays from 8:30pm to 9:45pm
